Cartilage Piercing Sore?

Ok, So I've had this piercing for a month. My hair constantly got tangled on the back of the earring so i took the hair out and it got an infection. I took care if my ears and the infection went away, but now they are just red and sore from messing with them. I think i slowed down the healing process but I don't know what to do. Please help!

keep it cleaned but don't over clean it.  use a simple sea salt soak.  it can take cartlidge 6months to a year to heal so hang in there.

It's not infected, it's irratated, there's a HUGE difference between the two. If you keep doing sea salt soaks like you're suppose to be doing it'll settle down. Cartilage piercings take up to a year to heal, 6 months minimum. During this time it's going to be sore.
