OK today i was in my front garden and i see a fox running past me so i was looking at it and i saw my female cat (11months) chasing after it!

Then both of them ran into the bush and i heard some scratching noise and a few growls/ruffles and then i saw the fox ran out and my cat chase it out the street.

Would the fox try eat my cat?

  1. Doesn't sound like it sense the cat was the one chasing the fox. Foxes aren't exactly aggressive. They want to be left alone, unless it has rabies, they will try to run and hide.

  2. I doubt the fox would try to eat it if the cat was chasing it. Did your cat have her hair and tail fluffed out because that makes them look scarier and can intimidate a big fox, lol.

So long as the fox isn't chasing the cat your cat is okay.

  3. if the fox has rabies mabe. keep your cat inside just a little bit more often.

  4. Make sure your cat is up to date on its rabies shot. Foxes are known to carry rabies, so it's very dangerous if they got into a fight and there are any open wounds on your cat. I hope things will be ok.

  5. You have a brave cat.  The fox wouldn't try to eat it, it's a bit big, but it could do some damage.  Sounds like your cat won this skirmish though.

  6. I wouldnt put that past the fox Because foxes eat cats Small dogs etc So try not letting your cat outside unless youre out there supervising her Cause you dont want anything to happen to her im sure So trust me Keep a close watch on her
