Cat labor question???

Question

My kitty is huge and pregnant. Her attitude has not changed that much, she is slightly more lovey and she sits and stares at me alot. She also lays in the cool grass in the front yard.

I have worked with animals all my life, but normally a cat's labor symptoms are different than this, from what I have seen,

I don't know if she is in labor. She eats the same, stares at me the same, hasn't really been paying attention to her kitty "girl parts" that much. She does shift around alot when she tries to sit down, like she can't get comfy. I do not know when her conception date was but I do know she HAS to be close.

Her nipple are pink and full of milk. I can see the babies moving around in her tummy.

She tends to twitch the fur/skin on her back around alot...whats that all about? I have seen a cat have contractions, this is definatly not that.

About 15 minutes ago, I noticed her first discharge, a whitish/light greenish bit of stuff coming out of her kitty "girl place". lol...not alot, no more than about the size of half a penny at best....

do you guys think she is in labor?

like I said, i have worked with animals all my life, but aside from the discharge, she hasn't really been acting like she is in labor. She...just...stares at me! lol No nesting either.

Yeah, probably is or will be by tomorrow. Keep her indoors though, no more cool grass till the kitties are grown and out of the house, and she is spayed of course. Take care of the little ones and good luck.

that might b the start of it,but usually the cat will meow at you alot and act all frantic when its time and will want u 2 sit with her when it happens,plus her girly parts will be fully dialated and open which is the best way 2 tell,but im pretty sure that she will let u know when its time. plus if shes already got a little bed made up she will run in and out of there until u sit with her.
