Yep cats are. They are the most lovable creatures I have ever met. I have a cat named Chloe (mixed siamese) and whenever I am sad or angry she knows and comes running to love on me and basically say "I love you, that's all that matters" in her purrs.

welll duhh! they're adorable! dont get me wrong dogs and other animals are cute 2 its just that my cats watching what im writing and i taught her to talk and read.

I guess that depends on the people you come in contact with.  I know my cats are better than some people...but even the cats have their faults.  

And they definitely BELIEVE they're better than ALL people.

A cat will openly manipulate you and you end up loving it for treating you like that.  If a person did that, you'd get shot of them.

And why do we love being treated like trash by our cats?  Cos there's nothing better than the feeling of a furry purr machine cuddling in!  Plus, you have to earn a cats trust and once you do, you get that lovely warm feeling!  Cats can be very complex but give me a kitty any day!

oh, and anyone who has been hurt by another person and has a cat will feel the same!

Cats can't talk, this already makes them infinitely better then 60% of the human population. Haha. That can't make idiot comments, or be an ***, and blab about your personal life.

Plus they are furry, and cute, and when they have been known to reduce stress levels in their owners. I don't know any humans who can do that.

I don't know if cats are better than people..  i suppose better than some worse than others.  I know some really great people!  I have 4 cats and my oldest thinks she is the Queen of Everything.  Ok in my opinion she is but my husband seems to think that she is just a little woman in a fur coat.

In my experience, it is easier to tell cats things than people. Cats don't judge. I used to be able to spill my guts to my cat when I was younger. I loved her so much and only trusted her. So I do agree that cats can be better than people.

Umm....  well, my cats are very special, and we love them like they are our children (children are grown and moved out), but I wouldnt say they are better than people.
