my one year old female cat, has the worse case of IBS I've ever seen. She can no longer hold her bowels inside of her, and it's EVERYWHERE in my house .. I've brought her to the vet, they gave me medicine to try and see if it would work, but it doesn't seem to have worked. She's still sick. She's got 4 kittens who don't seem to have this same problem, they're stool is hard and they've begun using the cat box. The vet said that the best option he would suggest, would be to put her down. Anyone who has animals SHOULD feel the same as I, in the aspect of they're like children. I don't know what to do. I DON'T want to put her to sleep .. any suggestions as to what could be wrong with her? parasites? (there are NO worms present in her stool) HELP!
