  1. An angry cat's tail swishes, his ears twitch, and his eyes dialate.

A happy cat purrs and blinks slowly at you.

An alert or scared cat's ears are turned outwards.

  2. when the tail is swishing, the cat is annoyed and telling you to back off with what ever it is that you are doing.  The tail can also be switching when kitty is concentrating on a bird or mouse or what ever and there is a chance of a pounce any minute now.

Cats are so human-like lol. My partner swears that our cats are always giving him dirty looks if they don't get what they want. And if he upsets them they come straight to me. Who needs kids when you've got cats like mine? lol

  4. that's nothing. try walking in on your cat and catching him wearing a pair of your pants and reading the paper!

  5. This is an easy one. your cat is irritated by something, he is annoyed and aggravated. The harder they wag their tail, the more pissed they are. When they purr they are content.  When they meow alot they are in pain, hungry, thirsty, want you to change their litter box, want to play and are trying to tell you something probably that they want attention, so you have to go down the list and figure out what it is.
