Cd drive- computer

Question

Few days ago my computer used to get hanked whenever i connect it to the internet. For this reason my computer vendor formatted my computer & the problem has gone. But now my cd drive (combo) is giving serious problems. When i try to copy songs etc from cd, dvd it takes huge time to copy them. This time has considerably increased, it used to take much less time earlier. Also during playing songs from cds its breaking up and the sound isn't coming continuously. Can you tell me the reason.
