  1. Before going to Cedar Point, I hated rollercoasters. Now I love them, whole bunch, you'll find a perfect one, no matter what level. Tons of other stuff than just roller coasters too. I personally went for one day, left early morning, came back at night, but I live a little over and hour away. I bought tickets at the gate. The price is the same online and at the gate, but if you buy in a package of 4, you can save 40 bucks! However, I looked at hotels, and the hampton inn shouldn't be too bad. It's run by Hilton, I always have a good time in them.

  2. Stay at the breakers hotel right there on the peninsula....it is not too expensive and you get beech privileges...I stayed there one time and that is the only place I would stay again....try and get a room in the original old part...the rooms are super cool....also you can sneak into the staff dorms like we did and meet a ton of cool people....CEDAR POINT ROCKS!!!!!!!!! ...I used to live an hour from there (Wauseon Ohio) so I am A seasoned amazement park veteran....I even worked there in 1991....

  3. It was very fun!

    - Sandcastle Suites, right outside of the park

    - I got them for free

sandcastle suites has an amazing pool.

  4. 1. Cedar Point is a blast.  The amusement park is for all ages, from tots to the elderly.  They have 17 roller coasters and many other "tame" and not-so-tame rides.  You are guaranteed to have fun (unless it decides to rain!).  Some rides that are popular (and have longer lines...get in line as soon as you get there) are Millenium Force, Top Thrill Dragster, and Maverick.  Some of my personal favorites are Raptor, Mantis, and Wicked Twister.

    2. Since I only live 30 minutes away from Cedar Point, I always drive, but I do work in Sandusky on Rte. 250.  With that being said, if you want a nice hotel, I would either stay at Cedar Point's Breakers, Breakers Express, or Sandcastle Suites ($165+ depending which hotel and the day of the week you are staying) if they are available.  They are the closest you can get to the park.  If those are not available, I would try Comfort Inn or Comfort Suites, Hampton Inn, or Fairfield Inn (all run about $250+ a night right now).  If money does not matter, there is Maui Sands, Kalahari, Castaway Bay, and Great Wolf Lodge.  These hotels have indoor waterparks which can be even more fun for when you get back at night or if you have spare time.  The quality in these hotels is going to much higher than Comfort Inn and maybe even the Cedar Point hotels, but they are going to cost you.

    3. Like I mentioned before, I live 30 minutes away, so I always had a season pass.  But, if we had to buy tickets on certain occasions (relatives/friends coming along with us), we would get our tickets through AAA.  If you are a member or know of someone that is a member and will stop and get the tickets for you, I think it's the cheapest way.  I know Kroger and Meijer used to sell them at one point, but I'm sure if they sell them anymore (it's been awhile since I have heard anything about them selling them).  The other option is locating a Pepsi can to see if they have a promotion on the side.  If all else fails, just buy them at the park at the ticket booth.

  5. i love cedar point, i go atleast 10 times a year since i have a season pass. i usually don't stay the night, since its a only a 90 min drive home, which isnt that far.

but in the past when i have stayed, I always stay at the great wolf lodge, its really nice, & the indoor water park is fun. :)

+ plus you can buy your tickets at the miejers like next door to the hotel (for a discount, i believe) , or right at the park, at the gates.

  6. It was sooo fun. My family of 7 stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge. We purchased tickets in the park. The Great Wolf has an indoor waterpark inside and it's also very clean. The rooms were big as well. We got 2 queen beds and a sofa bed.

  7. it was incredibily fun and idk where u stay i only went there for 1 day you can try staying in cedar points hotel but u can buy tickets at the ticket booth over at cedar point but if you want some of the best prices check all wal mart i think they are selling cedar point tickets

  8. Been there twice before....going back Aug 3-6 of this year.  Both times that I went before I had an absolute BLAST, and I hope to have a blast this time.

The 2 previous times I went, I stayed at Red Roof Inn in Clyde Ohio...very reasonable rates, and 17 miles from the park.  This time, I am going to be staying at Red Roof Inn in Milan Ohio which also has reasonable rates and is only 7 miles from the park.

The first 2 times I went to the park, I bought my tickets from a Meijer not too far away from Cedar Point.  This time, I got a discount online through my work (I work at Walgreens).

You will have lots of fun!

  9. Cedar Point is my favorite place ever.  We like to stay at the Hotel Breakers.  It's just a short walk to the park, you get in to Cedar Point an hour earlier than the public and there are pools, hot tubs, some good places to eat and an arcade right in the hotel.  We buy our tickets at Meijer.
