Celebrity Cruise ice machine?

Ice Machine?

Sorry all you knowlegable cruisers, but I'm not one of you.

I will be on a Celebrity Cruise soon and when I have a question that is not answered by my paperwork for other places, I'm gonna cheat and ask you.

My wife and I don't drink alcohol, but we drink a lot of sodas. How much is Celebrity's SODA CARD, and how accesable is ice.

soda card is like $20-25 per person. You don't have access to the ice machine but your room captain will have your ice bucket full all the time... you can call for more if you choose. We also took our own pepsi on board, bottled water  too also we didn't have a problem taking 8-12 cans of soda on with us.

I believe when you want a soda with the card you just present the card at any bar and get your drink. You won't need to hunt for ice. They won't give you a can but a plastic cup of soda and ice. It seems that the ship has only coke products.. Just got off one a few weeks ago.

I have been told the card is about 5-6 dollars per day by a friend who cruises with then exclusively.  I have never been on one.  As far as the ice machine, your room steward should leave a bucket of ice in your room, and you can always get more from room service.

The soda card is about $5 per day and you have to pay for all of the days of your cruise.  Therefore, a 7 day cruise card is about $35.  When you consider that a can of Coke costs $1.75 plus 15% tip, you will do pretty good if you drink 4 a day.  You will not get your soda in a can but rather in an insulated mug.

You can get ice at any of the bars for your drinks and the room steward will refill your ice bucket as many times a day as you want.

Celebrity is my favorite cruise line.  Have a great time.
