Cell phone water damage???

Question

my cell phone got a little water on it last night and ive tried to take the battery out and let it dry and it has helped...i can dial numbers but i cant push enter or text message... i have insurance on it, so ill probably just get a new one or see if they can fix this one... is there tips you all can give me???thanks yall :)

Of course!  I recently dropped my cell phone in a pool, and im using it right now and it's working perfectly!  It was smart to take the battery out, but right now you should put in in a bowl of rice for about 10 minutes (the rice absorbs all the water it can get to) and then take a vacuum cleaner, and for about 20 minutes, suck all of the water out of it, even if you dont see it. my phone was in my pool for a good 2 minutes, and it works perfectly now.  so if you dont want o deal with insurance, i recommend trying this first.

Your insurance may not cover water damage what is your cell phone provider? Because if its verizon then you have problems. email and we can talk. if its Verizon i've been a long time costumer and been threw alot of phones Only due to my mistakes of course.

I read somewhere to put the cell phone in a bowl of rice. The rice will soak up all the water. Try that and see if it makes a difference!

put your cell in a bag filled with uncooked rice over night, it works!

well at least im no the only one that has water damage to my phone! i went swimming yesterday and my friends little sister or somebody came and set their little football full of water by my phone and it all poured out all over it and ive tried to blow dry it and gonna go set it in the dashboard of our truck so it can dry.. but at least your woorks.. take to your service provider and see if they'll give you a new one!

Yeah you need to get a new phone, If you have insurance that's good they can replace it but make sure they transfer your numbers. I got to be able to text so I don't know about you, but I would head to the cell phone store quick.
