does anyone know which washing detergents contain cellulase?

  1. In the US, it's not required for these to be so labeled, but if you ask the manufacturers, they'll generally tell you.  Many of the "better for dark colors" detergents do have some cellulase, as it can remove microfibrils of cellulosics that make dark colors look greyer.


  2. Cellulase is an inducible enzyme.

    In fact, any process that goes on inside the human body - from digestion to reproduction - can be described as BIOLOGICAL and it is a general term given to any natural action or reaction.

    In washing powders and liquids, it simply means the product contains enzymes which have been found to help in the washing process.
