Chalk fumes and hedgehogs?

I am getting a hedgehog in about 3 weeks and this weekend I'm gonna be painting my room and i figured out that there is this really cool chalkboard paint you can buy and it will make your wall basically be a chalk board but before i go out and buy it i wanted to make sure that a hedgehog would be O.K. with chalk fumes and stuff?

i would suggest that you paint your room BUT keep the hedgehog in a different room for a bout a week after  you get it so that there is a better chance that your hedgehog will not get sick. chalk fumes can be potentially  harm full to any one
