Change RAR file to MP3??

Question

I just downloaded an album and want to listen to it. I was told to extract it using a winrar program i found on net but when i do it asks for a password which i don't or never had or even added.

Have i the right program or can anyone advise me more. Also what MP3 players to use. I currently use Real player or windows media player and player classic. Many thanks for the help.

That happens because the album is password protected. You have to probably go and register to a specific website and they will promise to give you the password. This is a cheap technique used by lame hackers to get your email and then sell it to spammers. DO NOT FALL INTO THIS TRAP! The album you downloaded from torrents actually does not have any music in it! It is a fake file! Delete it and forget about it!

The only answer to that question is that the person who upload that album to the internet Encrypted that's songs with winrar and there is no way possible to listen without that password. I recommend search that password or look for that album on other site in the internet.

Try using VLC Media Player it cplays nearly all files i like ever heard of and the passwords, i dunno

The password was put on the rar file by the person that created it, meaning you would have to find him/her to get the password.  Basically, you're going to need to try again.

The RAR file has a password, meaning that you can't open it.

If you could tell me the name of the album, I could find you a download for it.

As for RAR to MP3, that's like trying to change a folder to a picture file. It's impossible.
