Question:

Changing Portfolio Order in Yahoo Finance?

Hi..Yahoo Finance has the ability to group Portfolios in numerical order. I can't find that feature now. For instance, if I have ten Portfolios listed, I may want to group all the Value Portfolios together (rather than when the portfolio was created, which is the Default). I'm sure I'll be embarrassed when you tell me ow simple it is. Thanks!

  1. If you're using Yahoo toolbar, go to the finance button, click the drop down arrow, click create/edit portfolios, the left column, is portfolio order. Don't forget. to click finished, when you're done.

  2. Ya, I'd be curious too!

They recently "upgraded" Yahoo!Finance and it seems we've lost our ability to order the portfolios now!

You may need to contact Y!Finance directly.  And here's what you'd do.

In Yahoo!Finance, at the top right of the page, there's a help link. Click on that to get your here

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/finance...

Then click on one of the links on the left like quote basics. Here's that page:

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/finance...

Finally, at the bottom is the contact customer care button. Yes, it's convoluted, but that's one way to get there!

Oh, or just click here (if it works). (hard for me to test if it works since I clicked through to get there)

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/finance...

Once you get there and ask your question, they're pretty good at getting back to you, but you may have to ask/answer back and forth a couple of times.

    Hope that helps!
