Changing User Names?

Question

When I look at different files I end up seeing C:\Users\John.

I want to change John to Erika. How do I do this?

You don't "change" John to Erica

Each User name is assigned by the Administrator.

The Administrator, or someone with Administrator privileges can create a  new User account named Erica.

Then if you want all the same files, in Explore Tree

you can COPY them to the Erica user.

To create a new user go to Control Panel > click USER ACCOUNTS >

select Create a new User Account >

Follow the prompts

To move files between users

RIGHT click START > left click Explore

scroll down to User 1

Open MyDocuments or other file wanted >

RIGHT click the file/hold down left mouse button / drag to hover over User2 account / let go mouse button / select COPY HERE

go to control panel ,then click on User Accounts and Family Safety then go to User Accounts and look for change name it is verry eazy good luck :-)
