Changing dial font on LG-VX8350

It seemed pretty straightforward, right? Settings->Display Settings->Dial Fonts->Normal.But nooooOOOooooooo. Despite this, it still displays the large font, and I haven't been able to find anything to help me fix it. Thanks for looking in.
