Charity shoe boxes?

Question

Is there a charity where you can fill up shoe boxes with gifts and essentials for people in war torn countries or in poor countries...like they have at Christmas...but all year round? I was thinking that there must be something.

just do it during the year but donate them at christmas.

I dont know of any but why dont you just fill up the shoe boxes during the year and then you'll make lots of young people happy. That's what I do,also I do different age groups so it makes it more interesting for me.The large shoe shops have always got plenty of boxes to give away
