What are some of his accompishments in Math? I don't care about science or evolution.

To judge from a list of his publications (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_wor... there weren't any.  He may have found new uses for existing math in his evolutionary theory, but he doesn't seem to have published specifically on mathematical topics.

C.G. seems to have been primarily an applied mathematician, working in concert with noted physicists of his day.
