Chaz has gone to Kawasaki, AMA is this the right move. personaly I think it is. being a test rider for Ducatti may have slowed his carreer. any thoughts

this will only be a good move if chaz can be successful in ama , no doubt he will and this could be a stepping stone for a factory ride in either wsb or motogp, remember america is not easy remember neil hodgson

Sorry mate but Dingo is correct. AMA is not where he needs to be. He should have taken the Ducati test work and stayed in their field of view as well as in other Moto GP teams on a world stage. The AMA is meaningless outside of the USA, just as BSB is, outside of Britain. Even a ride in WSB is a big step down from Moto GP, so out of sight and out of mind.

I think there is no way back for him now to the ultimate class, though I hope I am proven wrong.

That's him slid off the radar then - as far as I can tell, coverage of the AMA is nil or as near as dammit; so maybe we'll see something at the end of next season.

Neil is to old to bothrer with now. Yes, he a super fast rider, but move back to the tax heaven of the Isle of Man and count your millions.

As for Ben Spies.............. It wont be long untill Suzuki MotoGP re-think there 2008 plan and bring Ben in full time.
