  1. Go to Thorntons and buy a chocolate monkey, and have their name's put on it with iceing. £6 max.

    Or socks haha. £4 max.

  2. Books

  3. Assuming your friends aren't diabetic or dieting, consider putting together plates of homemade cookies and/or fudge for them. My mom and I do it for several of our local family members and friends every Christmas, and they love our fudge and cookies!

  4. Get things on Ebay or in pound shops. The key is get cheap things that look expensive.

  5. Depending on who your friends are there are a lot of options that you could go with.

By who your friends are I mean what they are in to and how you know them! For example say there are three friends you know from your gym then you should get them something that relates to the gym. Some examples are a water bottle with their name or initials on, gym survival kit (plasters, water, deodrant, talc), or maybe sweat bands.

As you have a lot of time (and I assume you won't mind being crafty!) then the following things are things you could make that are quite easy and I think appreciated!

*No Sew Blankets (do a search, basically you tie two pieces of fleece together)

*Photograph album of pictures of you and your friend (or group of friends) you could also personalize this by adding stubs of cinema tickets chocolate bar wrappers etc

    *complation CD of music

    *decorated shirt or t-shirt

*basket of goodies (soaps or food)

    Hope these ideas help!

  6. You could make them homemade chocolates, cookies, bath salts, candles, and scarfs.  If you have a printer you could also buy the paper that you print off a picture and then you iron it on to a shirt, pillow, apron, etc.

  7. For close friends and family members I used to give framed pictures of my kids.  We've also made homemade fudge or pralines and given them as gifts in inexpensive Christmas-y containers.

  8. You can buy kits to make scarves out of fabric for cheap and alls you have to do it cut, there's no sewing involved! And they make great gifts!
