Cheap airplane ticket?

Can anyone tell me where to book a cheap airplane ticket?

I want to fly to Vietnam on Dec 18 or 19. I depart from Corpus Christi, TX.

I searched and the price was $1,800 which was too expensive for me. I need the tickets under $1,600.

or just fly southwest

they are cheap

and so is jet blue

and they are fast

cheaptickets.com had some for 1200-1400 dollars, but you have to book it ahead of time...

You may want to fly out of the country on a tuesday, wednesday, or thursday. taking late night flights and make stops can also be cheaper too (though not always). If you have airmile points, you may want to use them. Shop around. Ask multiple air travel agencies
