Cheap international vacation?

What are some cheap international destinations that I can fly to this month? I am trying to plan a nice vacation and have tried looking on the mainstream sites like expedia and travelocity but havent had much luck. Any advice on sites to find cheap airfare and travel packages? Any destination suggestions?

try cebu, philippines. they got international airport there.  its a metropolitan city so you get the big malls, the cultural spots, the night life, but just a few hours away (by land or sea) you can have beautiful beaches, too. the hotels-resorts are full-range from very expensive to very reasonable.  and of course, the dollar-peso exchange rate will make this trip very affordable. also, if you check the news, theres hardly any kidnapping of foreigners there so it is a safe place.
