  1. if you're booking up in advance, you may get a really cheap room at http://www.easyhotel.com/

me and my partner stayed there a few weeks ago, the rooms are basic (and slightly orange!) and don't include breakfast, but are near major rail links (we stayed near london victoria) and are a great base, if nothing more

transport-wise, the cheapest (but not very speedy) is by bus - something like megabus generally does good deals

  2. nothing is cheap in london dear.

i would recommend you gather some money. suggestion would be to stay in a b&b or a mid range hotel slightly outside the city - if you are in the city  - expect to pay more.

there is lots to see in london - as long as the weather is good so plan to come in summer.

    good luck !

  3. NOTHING is cheap in London, u are better off staying on the outskirts and going in by tube every day. The cheapest way to travel would be by National Express, although it would take a lot longer

  4. For Hotels

You can try hotel search in http://www.AmericaCheapHotels.com where you can read hotel reviews and comments, see photos and its physical locations through maps, details about important nearby locations ....

Best thing is you can compare the USA/worldwide hotel prices in any city in any country in your local currency.
