Cheap overnight accommodation in London?

Question

I am looking for somewhere to stay in London city centre for the cheapest price possible.

Preferably near the West-End?

I have found a YHA (Youth Hostel) on Oxford Street that is £64 for a room (pay per room, not per person).

Can anyone beat that?

Anyone know of any other pay-per-room places in London City Centre?

Easy Hotel is one of the cheapest hotels in London provided you book well in advance, they have hotels in Earl's Court, South Kensington & Victoria:

Probably not. There are almost no hotels in the City of London. Why would you want to stay there? Hardly anyone lives in the City of London. It's like a graveyard at night.

  I put a website for an inexpensive hotel near Charing Cross Train Station which has rooms for a single (55 pounds with shared bath, and 75 pounds with private bath). You have hundreds of pubs and wine bars and restaurants within a 1/4 mile walk. You are right up the street from Trafalgar Square.
