Well you want a idea for shortcake ideas....Well the only answer that sounds right to me is buy all the stuff you need and then make it at home. you can make alot and its alot cheaper on you in the long run.

Why don't you go to a corner store and buy a whole bunch of  strawberry shortcake snake cakes and smash them up into a cake.

I'm assuming you're talking about the character strawberry shortcake, not the dessert.

An easy way to make a character cake is to print off a picture of it, and outline it in piping gel. Bake and ice a 13x9 inch cake and invert the picture (gel side down) and run gently to imprint on the cake. Fill in picture with neccessary colored icing in star (Wilton tip 16) tip.

A different route is to just buy the sugar figures from hobby lobby or ac Moore.

A good punch recipe is 1 can pineapple juice, 1 liter of 7 up,  1 liter of Hawaiian punchy, and a half gallon of orange sherbert.

Making your own banners and decorations also helps a lot.
