Cheap tanks 4 fish?

Killie fish breeders use plastic storage boxes!  They may not be very good for observing your fish but they are cheap!  Another source of inexpensive aquaria is the classified ads in newspapers.  I bought a 29 gallon from an ad and got a 5 gallon given to me!

If you're somewhat handy, you can get double strength window glass cut to size and using duct tape to hold the sides together while you use aquarium sealer to bond the pieces together.  A piece of plywood matching the dimensions of the bottom glass will give it support and protect it from breakage.

And there is always the discount stores!

Go to Craig's List, do a search on Free Stuff look for fish tanks. You might get lucky at a Goodwill store. Post signs at stores asking for a 5 gallon tank for a great price. Pet smart did have a basic rectangular fish tank for $13.99 when I asked about that size. They also carry 2.5 gallon tanks for a cheap price.
