  1. Jing Gong and Echo 1 are the same firm. Echo 1 is just JGs American counterpart (JG is a Chinese company)

Tokyo Marui is a Japanese firm that has been building airsoft guns for several years and its guns are widely reknowned for having fantastic build quality. On the down side, they generally dont come with a battery, charger or magazine.

Jing Gong are one of many 'cheapsoft' companies that are fairly new to the scene and are manufacturing carbon copies of the Tokyo Marui and Classic Army guns for a fraction of the price. And will usually include a battery, a charger (not usually great quality but a nice gesture) and a Hi-cap mag

JG are pretty much the best of the bunch when it comes to Chinese clones. Some of their guns are said to be even better than the TM models they copy.

Buy either gun and you wont be disappointed. If you have plenty of money to throw around and dont mind buying a battery, a few mags and a charger as extras, then get the Tokyo Marui. However, if, like me you are airsofting on a bit of a budget, go for the Jing Gong.

EDIT. I dont think there are any UK based airsoft gun manufacturers. Most UK retailers however will stock a two tone version of the gun you are wanting. And if they dont then they will do a paint job on it for a small fee.

    Go to

    www.airsoftworld.co.uk

    or

    www.actionhobbys.co.uk

Both are UK retailers and have a large range of 2 tone guns.

  2. "Big Kid" is spot on, but I also wanted to mention that the JG guns have become so good some of the top of the line companies have started making Sportline guns out of plastic just to compete.
