Check in, airport?

I have just got an airport job as a check in girl and start training on monday but what should i expect to be taught? Many Thanks!

Don't worry about what to expect.  You won't finish training anyway.

sorry I cannot advise you as to what to expect  for I admittedly have no knowledge of the  job description except from the point of view from  a customer

Mainly customer service and computer skills.

They'll show you what to look for in ways of suspisious behaviour.

How to 'tag bags'

How to handle 'rowdy' customers.

How to use the computer system

and finally how to manage and control situations.

In the United kingdom a check in desk has Check in attendents. Thats whats on their badge. Assuming she is from the uk she has said nothing wrong.

checking weight, they havent got sharp things or things that could blow up on plane, terrorist activities, drugs undeclared custom goods, okay, you will be fine they will train you okay,
