helo all. just need some opinions. comments are appreciated as well. just be honest. what do u think of a man who stands at 5'11 and weights 170lbs/77 kg and is able to do 12 pushups in a row with a 120lbs/55kg person standing on his shoulder blades. standing, not sitting. so the entire 120lbs/55kg weight is on him. 12 weighted pushups in a row. all the way down all the way up. is it the same like benchpressing 185lbs for 12 reps? or heavier than 185lbs? can u please calculate? if ure an expert and if u do weighted pushups and benchpress. 170lbs person doing 12 pushups in a row with 120lbs person standing on his shoulder blades. is it pretty much like benching 185lbs 12 times in a row or its heavier than 185lbs? if so, how much? what do u think? thanks.

  1. lol im a 16 year old female who has been doing martial arts for a few years, i can do 50proper press ups with a 50kg person on my back ...im 61kg and 5 ft 7!!!!  for ur level of ability i say do 4:2 (4 press ups:2reps) =8press ups with 15second rest time. then for wekk two and so on increae pressups by 3 and reps by 1. get them to crouch on ur shoulders they are more balanced

    Some of the weight distributes to the fulcrum, which is the feet.
