  1. yes, only carry on bags will require a 3oz bottle or smaller.

  2. I actually asked a TSA agent this as he was scanning my baggage to be checked. He said you can have bottles of shampoo and conditioner, as long as you don't have something like 20 bottles because that is suspicious.

  3. You can bring any size - you are not limited to a set amount in you checked baggage, only carry on.

I would make sure you put them in plastic bags anyway, as you see how the ground handlers just toss your luggage all over - hate to have any container open and have shampoo all on your cloths !

  4. in your checked luggage there's really no limit, just put them in ziplocked plastic bags in case of leakage. and be prepared to pay for overweight fee because you'd be surprised to find out how quickly those items add weight to your luggage!! lol

  5. No, you are only allowed to bring small containers contain 3 oz or less of fluids. Even if you have a big bottle with only less than 3 oz. of liquid, you aren't allowed.

just bring a small bottle containing whatever you want to bring and remember to put in a ziploc bag.

When you go through security, remember to take it out and put in a bin (doesn't have to be a seperate bin).

If you need to bring the full size, just put it in your luggage.

It better to do that because I read online someone's shampoo accidentally spilled in her carryon and the security officer had to pull her aside to check her belonging because they thought the spilled shampoo was some kind of harmful substance.
