Cheer question ! PLEEEEASE HELP !?

Okay so I have been a cheerleader for 3 years , and when this season comes it will be 4 . So I started when I was 5th grade , and 6th and 7th were a school team . Anyways this year I will be able to go for captain , since i'm an 8th grader . I really want this position , but I don't know how to give the 6th and 7th grade cheerleaders a good impression and get them to think I would be a good captain ! Please help me .

I'm an 8th grade cheerleader at my school but unfortunately there are no captain position available. Be confident when you go for the postion, only think good thoughts. Being a captain doesn't matter how good you are, it's of how good of a leader you are. What I do for our seventh grade cheerleaders is be nice to them, a lot of them are first time cheerleaders and don't know a lot about the sport. Tell them what to fix, but tell them their strengths also. Be cool and nice to all of them, and they'll just admire you all together because your older and more mature. Hope this helps you. (:
