From the Telegraph: "Ferdy Murphy, who never seems to let a Festival pass without a winner, chipped in with Naiad du Misselot in the Coral Cup. Whispered Promises, a faller in that race, was the only equine fatality of the week."

I know there was a horse pulled up during the Gold Cup, but I don't know what happened to him after that.  I hope no one got seriously injured.  I'm kind of afraid to watch steeplechasing because I hate seeing the horses fall after the jumps.  But I did watch the Gold Cup and Denman looked very talented.  I had no idea that he was undefeated... that's excellent!

there was something like 8 casualties in last year cheltnham festival meeting but they were forced to make improvments to saftey of course luckily there was only the one fatality this year
