  1. The term for conceding defeat in Chess is called resigning. In online Chess there is a 'resign' button. In over-the-board Chess tipping one's King is a traditional way to resign, but if you go to a tournament you'll see very few players resign that way. Most people simply shake hands and say, "nice game" or something similar.

  2. To forfeit in chess you are suppose to say that I give up and gently knock down your king on you turn.

  3. Tip over your king.

  4. i cant write everything here but i can say you a website.www.chess.com

  5. In casual games a player will typically tip over the king in resignation, but I have never seen it occur in tournaments. From what I observed among professional chess-players, the player who decided to resign would hold up his hand to the opponent for a handshake, and it was accepted that he was resigning. To these top players it is very clear who has the advantage so a draw offer cannot be confused with a resignation.

Among weaker players in tournaments I think players sometimes get confused when someone just offers their hand because they do not know the correct procedure to resign, so I would sometimes say "I resign" and then offer my hand. A player once stopped his clock and offered his hand to me, I think this is another way of resigning.

  6. Once beaten, take the king, and throw it at your opponent's face. Proceed to lay a hailstorm of cusses on him, flip the bird, and walk away.

  7. you knock down the king and shake hands with your opponent

  8. You lay the king on it's side, traditionally your supposed to do that when the king is checkmated as well. It's all matinee
