Chicago Universitys?

Question

What are the best top two Universities in the city of Chicago and how do they compare to each other. What are some pros and cons of each. Best response gets 5 stars

Check out northwestern and university of chicago. They're both one of the top schools not only in Chicago but also in the nation. Even though northwestern is in evanston, it's like 15 min. away from chicago so it's not a big commute. Pros of both universities, they have an excellent reputation, are good in economics, journalism, and medical fields, aren't far from the city, good professors, and have a big diversity among the students so you get to meet many new people there. Cons- they're both private so they're def. expensive, and they have huge campuses so it's not easy to get from one class to another and they don't really have a good sports team.

Other than that the pros def. weigh out the cons (there's plenty more pros and cons i'm sure but these are a few that came to mind)

You should check out the collegeboard website and search universities in the Chicago area, they have detailed info. on pretty much everything imaginable on the school.

Northwestern and the University of Chicago.  As close to Ivy League as you can get.

Sorry, I suggest you do your own research on how these 2 compare.  You'll get a better feel for what each has to offer if you do your own leg work.
