Child modeling in Queensland Australia

Me and my partner have been thinking about putting our son into modeling (nothing too serious) but all the agencies we have seen on-line cost a lot of money. Is there any free agency's or something similar we could put our son into?

  1. dont pay money for an agency, a proper agency would never ask for money they would just take a portion of your sons earnings.  try looking in the phone book or asking around to find out which agencies are good

  2. I am in sydney and had my son in Bambinis and he never got one call up for an audition, even though they approached me to put him on their books, so there went $700.

We are currently with Bettina and if they dont have any auditions in their first yr they get the 2nd free, which is good. Although I am not going to put them back in, I find that all the advertising work goes to the girls.

Maybe you could enter him in a competion with Practical Parenting or one of the parenting mags, or Pumpkin Patch do a comp every yr too.

    Good luck!!

  3. how old is your son and why do you want him/her to be in modeling so bad. its not good for kids to have that much on them. its to stressful for them. i would never do that to my 2 year old daughter if she wants to do it when she gets older thats ok but i would not make my kid do anything even if they are really young and can't talk for them self.
