Children's seats??? Emergency PLEASE!!!?

Hi! I'm babysitting my nephews tonight (4 and 3 yrs old)... It kinda was a last minute thing and I just realized my SIL forgot to leave me the children's carseats. Now I had to get them from the kindergarden and I have no carseat... what should I do??? Any solution???

Swing buy her work before you go to pick them up and tell her you need the carseats.

Ummm... maybe you should just put them in the seatbelts,in the back seat. what else can you do?

They have very inexpensive booster seats at walmart or Target for about $12-$15, buy them and then try to return them unless your SIL wants to pick up the tab on that.

They'll be fine if you buckle them up in the seatbelt.  Is there any way that you can go by where ever your sister in law is?  to pick up the carseats.  If not, then just buckle them up in the seatbelt.

Well if you can afford it why don't you get two booster seats?  they don't have to be fancy or expensive and who knows when you or someone else might need to borrow them?  It's always good to have them just in case and booster seats will last a couple of years as the children grow.  Just go by the illistrations on the boxes on how to buckle them in because usually booster seats it's not the same as car seats.

They are 4 and 3 years old and are in kindergarten? School isn't even in session yet. lol. Hmm, well my grandparents just have my 3,4 and 5 year old cousins sit in the regular seats and they just drive carefully, if they aren't little babies, it should be okay, its still needed, but if you can't do anything about it, just bring some pillows for them to hold just in case anything happens.

go get the car seats from your sil. i dont know where you are but in idaho if anyoneunder 40 pounds is caught with out a booster seat  the driver gets a hefty fine. it may be the same where ever you are,

Go to Wal-Mart and buy the cheapest car seat and booster seat you can find.  Try to get it installed at the firehouse or hospital or wherever as they can be a bit trickey.  Good Luck
