Children fighting?

my husband and i have some friends but they have a child of four and our child is five and they fight like cat and dog.what can we do.

Try playing with them.  All six of you. Fly kites, ride bikes, throw Frisbees, etc.  Show some leadership.

Start them on violin lessons.  Get them to compete.

We're predators. Play fighting is natural even among friends.  You still should attempt to avoid real injury.

Yell at them when they do it and put them in there rooms. Spank them. Thats what my cuzin does and her 2 outa 5 kids dont fight much anymore and when they do, they know there gonna get it. Those 2 are Jack 4 years and Matt 6 years.

Sometimes yelling, scolding and time outs dont work. If they don't, then maybe the only thing that will is a sore bum, and the rest of the day in their rooms with no toys. 2-3 smacks should be enough.
