  1. haha i actually watched rainbow brite. Lets see i was pretty partial to the TMNT, He-Man She-Ra the Thunder Cats. I liked Carebears umm Voltron. Ahhh the 80s i miss you so.

  2. I personally feel privaledged to have been a child in such a great decade. We had all the best cartoons and toys!

My favourite shows include: The Muppet Show, Muppet Babies, Zoobillie Zoo, Inspector Gadget, Heathcliffe, Alvin & The Chipmunks, Pee Wee's Playhouse, The Polka Dot Door, Mr Dress Up, The Elephant Show (Sharon, Lois & Bram), Today's Special, My Pet Monster, You Can't Do That On Television

I have a little brother so my favourite boy shows to watch are: Transformers, GI Joe, C.O.P.S and Voltron.

And with mom or my sister I'd watch sitcoms and game shows, my favourites are:

The Price Is Right, Card Sharks, Just Like Mom, Classic Concentration, Family Feud, The Cosby Show, Silver Spoons, Family Ties, Growing Pains, The Facts of Life and Little House on the Prairie

Fashion was awful. I wore my pony tail on the side with a neon scrunchie. If it wasn't in a pony tail it was BIG HAIR and lots of hairspray, which I always hated. I too loved my jelly shoes so much that I nearly tore my feet to shreds wearing them on a hike at camp. I also loved wearing my Watchanimal!

Toys typical girl stuff: Strawberry Shortcake, Carebears, My Little Ponies, Cabbage Patch Kids, Popples, Watchanimals, Oopsy Daisy.

I loved Art kits, Lego and collecting stickers and completing sticker albums. Althought it doesn't sound like it from all the TV I listed nothing beat spending the day outside riding my cabbage patch kids Big Wheel (usually against my brothers Knight Rider) as much as I could!!

And music was big for me in the 80's although I was  young having a teenaged sister fueled that- so we'd always be listening to the latest teen sensation like New Kids on the Block, Tiffany, Debbie Gibbson etc.. and hanging the pages of Teen Beat, Tiger Beat, BOP etc in our bedroom.
