Chivas 18 is very good, but whether or not you should buy it depends on what you've already had and how much you liked THAT. The 25 is probably even better, but at $275 a bottle I'm not going to find out any time soon.

SO: if you like Scotch and you've got $60 to drop: have some Chivas. If you can, track down a miniature version and you can find out for 1/10th the price.
