Christmas holiday?

I'm going away on holiday for christmas for 3 weeks to either miami, los angeles or san diego. I'll be stopping in a hostel which costs around $8.50 per night (the dollar symbol means pound) which on should I chose. Also the airfare is around the same miami slightly more.
