I am very allergic to almost every BP pill that is perscribed for me. I am now getting to the point where I am afraid to take anything but my pressure is very high. This has been going on for years each time they do find one it eventually stops working and we start again. I just heard that cinnamon can be a natural alternative. Is anyone taking this and is it working?

  1. Honey I don't know about helping the blood pressure, but my husband takes it for his Diabetes. I do hear that garlic pills are good for blood pressure. I'll be praying for you.

  2. Sorry.  Cinnamon is for high blood sugar, not blood pressure.

You might want to check out Mukta Vati, an Ayurvedic medicine for High BP.    Good Luck.

  3. Cinnamomum Zeylanicum ~ Cinnamon ......  is warming and drying so is an excellent remedy for colds and poor circulation....   daily use of cinnamon drinks will help to clear up problems with cold hands and feet...... it also promotes digestion, clears wind and settles nausea......  cinnamon for high blood pressure though i have no knowledge of i'm sorry.

High blood pressure can be a side affect of long standing dehydration ...... When you are getting dehydrated your body goes into preservation mode and hangs onto the little bit of water it does have, hence symptoms such as puffy bags under your eyes actually puffiness anywhere in the body is actually a sign of dehydration.

If you are dehydrated, your blood becomes thicker and your body has to work much too hard to cause it to circulate .......... Expecting your digestive system to digest food and transport essential vitamins and nutrients with no water in your system is an extremely huge ask ............ Water is imperative to life. Without water your body will have a terrible time breathing, digesting food, transporting nutrients, lubricating your joint sockets etc.etc.etc.etc......... nothing substitutes for water. your body needs at least 2 - 3 litres of water daily to function efficiently Geez, we need at least 2 litres daily just to maintain aspiration (to breathe)!! so drink up buddy ♥

Increase your intake of fresh filtered water 20 minutes before or after meals so as to enhance digestion rather than interfere with it ............... if you drink fluids during your meals it will only serve to dilute your digestive juices and hinder digestion ♥

also, try to cut back on drinks such as coffee, tea, alcohol, sodas and soft drinks (if you drink any of them) which will all do great job of dehydrating you. ie: just 1 can of soda or soft drink will make your body peesh out up to 12 cups of water !!! 1 cup of coffee will make your body peesh out about 2 cups of water ........... read the book by F. Batmanghelidj, M.D.... "Your body's many cries for water"...... an astounding and scary and very true read.

Some of the symptoms of dehydration are puffy bags under your eyes, dark circles under your eyes, irritability and moodiness, constant yawning, headaches and migraines and constipation and bloating and cramping and foggy thinking..... :0)

Also avoid table salt and replace it with organic sea salt .....  table salt is hideously bad for you.

Check out this link on sea salt  also .... it may be of use to you.

Increasing your intake of vitamin C rich foods can help lowering blood pressure as do foods rich in the omega 3 fatty acids ie ~ fish oils, flaxseed oils and hemp oils.... organic only though.

    hope this helps a bit

    peace 2 u

  4. Try this formula. My husband takes it and today, his doctor said he doesn't need his HBP medicine anymore.

  5. I have not heard that it is for blood pressure but for blood sugar but not to worry.  this will give you a permanent reversal,.

You need to dissolve the plague on your arteries and veins as this greatly narrows the passages and thus the pressure rises like a hose that is narrower.

this can be done by taking raw garlic (not ineffective capsules) and cayenne daily. It is best to take cayenne as a tincture (the hotter the better) but if you can can stand the heat, capsules have worked.

I heard of this in the book by d**k Quinn called left for dead"..I am sure it is on amazon or ebay and he cured his heart disease and did not get a wind bypass that he was told he needed with this regimen.

You might consider also adding ginger as it helps the capillaries.

the combination of garlic and cayenne makes the plague softer and then washes it away and this gradually makes the blood pressure go own.

also incorporate a lot of omega three fish oil by eating salmon, mackerel, sardines, and herring which are high in omega three fatty acids and help blood pressure.

    Hope this helps.

  6. Unfortunately, Cinnamon is actually good for Blood Sugar, not Blood Pressure. Sorry.

On the flip side, aside from diet and exercise, I could mention a few natural products for Blood Pressure health that are very beneficial. The most popular ones are Fish Oil, Hawthorn Berries, L-Arginine, C12 Peptides (from milk protein casein), Bonito Peptides, and Garlic.

    Good luck!

  7. Cinnamo can work. There are many other herbs too that can help lower high blood pressure. Here are five of them:

  8. A very good and comprehensive 'natural' approach in dealing with High Blood Pressure:

    Life Extension Foundation Recommendations

Endothelial dysfunction is closely linked to high blood pressure, atherosclerosis, and cardiovascular risk. Management of high blood pressure, a critical factor in endothelial risk, requires frequent self-monitoring and a multifaceted approach, including taking blood pressure–lowering medications, making lifestyle changes, and watching your diet and nutritional intake. Life Extension recommends people strive for an optimal blood pressure of 115/75 mm Hg.

Because many of the nutrients that lower blood pressure act along the same metabolic pathways as blood pressure–lowering medications, it is important to let your physician know which supplements you are taking before beginning conventional blood pressure medication.

Nutrients that may help lower blood pressure include:

    C12 casein peptide—200 to 400 milligrams (mg)/day

    Grape seed extract—150 to 300 mg/day

    Pomegranate extract—50 to 100 mg/day

Arjuna bark extract—250 to 500 mg twice a day

    Calcium—1200 to 1500 mg/day

    CoQ10—100 to 300 mg/day

    Garlic—1200 mg/day

Hawthorn berry extract—240 mg twice a day between meals

L-arginine—2000 mg three times a day between meals

Magnesium—500 mg/day (or more), based on maximum bowel tolerance and hypotensive effect; take the most at night before bed

    Olive leaf extract—500 mg/day

Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)—1400 mg/day of EPA and 1000 mg/day of DHA

Potassium—99 mg/day (or more) when instructed to do so by a health care professional, based on blood test results

    Soy protein—17 to 34 grams (g)/day

    Taurine—1000 to 6000 mg/day

    Vitamin C—1 to 3 g/day

    Vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol succinate)—400 International Units (IU)/day with about 200 mg of gamma-tocopherol

    Link to full protocol below.

    Good Luck!!!
