Do we need to cite facts?

I mean technically they aren't our words, but if paraphrased it would still mean we need to cite it, however would it not be assumed knowledge???

What's up with these ridiculous policies ranging from each faculty to faculty?

Some say yes, some say no...

  1. A fact is something that is the case. Consequently, anything that is not considered "fact" is, in fact, NOT the case. A "fact" is the state of affairs reported by a true statement.
