Clapton concert ireland?

i live in england and want to go to either the clapton concert at malahide castle dublin or the 'marquee' in cork but am unsure on which would be easier regarding travel from airport staying at a local hotel. basically what would be easier travel wise from england - fly into cork and see show at marquee or fly into dublin stay at local hotel and watch at malahide castle - how far is malahide castle from airport aswell? i dont know ireland that well and want to make the trip for me and my father as easy as possible. help

There's no point in making plans to come to Cork because the tickets for old 'slowhand' have already sold out.

There's a chance he might be playing at Ballydung soon. Watch this space!
