Clarion head unit is very sensitive?

I wanna ask about Clarion head unit. I heard that the clarion opical device is very - very sensitive and weak so then easily broken.

Have you ever heard about that? is that true?

Clarion CD decks are usually reliable. I probably replace about 100 lasers a year, but only 5 to 10 are Clarion.
