Cleaning a white board

I got liquid white board stuff and painted it on a wall in my house. Then whenever I write on it and wipe it off, you can still see it. It's just like the marker came off and some of the color stayed, if you know what I mean. How do I get it clean. I have tried water, water vinegar. I am going to try white board cleaner that you can buy.

  1. I always use Isopropyl Alcohol or nail polish remover with cotton balls. They are both great at dissolving the left-over marker residue.


  2. You can clean permanent marker off white boards using some comet and a dry paper towel.  If you use comet and a wet paper towel, that usually takes off the marker "residue."

  3. ~~Windex is great for this. It also reconditions your board.~~
