Cleaning the bottles?

How do you clean and steralize the baby's bottles?

I wash them in hot soapy water, with the bottle brush and nipple brush then rinse them off with hot water then put them in this sanitizer holder and cover them up for 2 minutes run microwave and it sanatizes them like that then I take them out let it stand for 2 minutes and then put them on a drying rack for bottles/nipples and then after they are dry I put them away

there is no need to go through all of this.

All i did was when i first bought the bottles i steralized them. after that just wash them in warm/hot soapy water as you would normally wash the dishes.

I do what the others on here do, sterlize when first opened then just wash with my regular dishes (I always wash them first then the other dishes!) babies are going to be exposed to germs, you can't sanatize everything they come into contact with and bottles are some of the least germy things they will get into.

If you don't mind going through all that then go ahead, its doing no harm. Just know you don't actually have too.

I wash so many bottles a day.  I sterilized them when I bought them and now I wash them in hot soapy water with a bottle/ nipple brush.  It's too much work and there is no need to do all that.  This gives me the opportunity to spend more time with my babies.

I do the exact same thing as you except when they come out of the microwave we put the required amount of water in each bottle ready for the formula to be added when needed.

I can't believe people are saying not to bother sterilizing, they must be sterilized until baby is 12 months old.

dishwasher works fine for me

When i had a dishwasher i just put them in there but since i don't have one anymore I sterilize the first time with boiled water but after that I just use very hot soapy water to wash them.
