Clear route pls..?

i need to reach shirdi frm chennai. is the route through pune the only alternative. i was told to go by navjeevan exp and get down at kopargan. but now this train does not stop there.as i am taking senior citizens with me who are comfortable in train journey, can someone suggest a quicker shorter route frm pune to shirdi. i am planning to take the train which leaves at 11.00am frm central and reach 9.30am next day pune. frm there any immediate connecting trains are there to shirdi. pls help

very first thing, theres no direct train to shirdi,

u can either get down at manmad or the way u said kopargaon

after u reach pune at 11am, the earliest train from pune to kopargaon or manmad is directly in evening.

all the trains wud reach kprgn late nite. from there u'l hav get a taxi..

my suggestion is not to reach kprgn or manmad late nite. cause road journey to shirdi late nite wont be pleasant.

there r train to kprgn or manmad early mornin btw 4am to 5am.. u'l reach krpgn or manmad around 10-11am.. then take  taxi to shidi.. so you can go for darshan around noon & attend the eve aarti at the temple.
