Clearing credit / collections?

Question

i had an issue that was sent to collections a few years ago. but i paid it immediately after it was sent. will it still be on my credit report? if so how do i clear it?

It will be on your credit for 7 yrs. You should have negogiated with the collection agency to have it removed in exchange to paying it off. You can still try and contact the collections agency and see if they will remove it.
