What did you think about CC Sabathia's newspaper ad after he was traded thanking the city and fans for his years there? Was it a genuinely nice gesture or something done from guilty conscience of trying to do the right thing? I know this happened a few weeks ago.

  1. He was being nice.

  2. See, I think it is swell when a guy does something like that. And no one ever pays attention. Y/A baseball regulars love to diss people and put them down, but they never seem to acknowledge a classy act. CC Sabathia is a true class act, and so are others. Thanks for pointing out one of the good guys.

  3. that was genuine. i mean, he was brought up through the Indians system and i'm sure it bothered him to have to leave. i think he's of the personal character where it would mean something to him. he could easily loaf the 2nd half of this season in order to not get hurt and risk that giant paycheck he's gonna get in the offseason. he's going out for milwaukee though and pitching a ton of complete games, i think he's genuine, with a good character, and a serious competitor.

  4. I saw C.C like last thusday....at some game I think... against the padres...

I think that was nice of him...

  5. i think it was a nice gesture
