Close in age babies?

Question

My son is five months old, I'm on the pill but my period is late and I'm cramping. Does anyone else have children close in age and have anything encouraging to say, I'm freaking out!

Me and my brother were born11 months apart. It's great, having to grow up close in age. We used to play together, run around. Just having fun, we were in the same class too until I got skipped ahead! But yeah, it's great for the kids. They won't have to feel like one is older or anything.

Our kids are exactly 2 years & 2 months apart. We have a boy & a girl.  They are now in high school and it is awesome !  He drives his sister to school and he also keeps me posted on who she hangs out with at school, etc...      Don't freak out !  It's going to happen and you'll be able to handle it.  You will look back on it when your children are my kids age and you won't remember the crazy/bad days.  You're a mom !  You can do it !  ; )

You will be fine! It may be hard having two so close but they will be great together when they grow up! It's nice to have a brother or sister your age that can understand what your feeling!

I have a friend and we were pregnant together for our first pregnancies but after that she started getting pregnant like CRAZY...every time her last baby turned five months old she was pregnant again!!!! But she has done GREAT...and she enjoys having them so close...done around the same time...you will be okay too....

I don't but two of my friends do, one has two girls 14 months apart and the other a boy and a girl 14 months apart also. I mean they said it was harder, having two babies at once seeing as kids dont really get any independence til about 2 years old, but they managed.

Im not really sure from a mother point of view but my sister and i are 9 months apart ( she was a premature baby) I think it is great we are so close. When we were little we did everything together we were even in the same year at school. Know were older were still very close. Mum said she loved it.  Good Luck!

haha sorry I know what ur thinking.  My daughter turns one on sept 17 and I am 12 weeks with #2.  They will be about 18 months apart.  I was nervous at first but I look at it this way, at least I will get over all of the sleepless nights, diapers, etc... at once and not have to worry about it again bc after this I'm finished lol.
